Selena's Gold Faberge Egg Ring
Because Selena liked Faberge Eggs, YS had a special ring made for Selena. It had 52 diamonds, 18 karat gold, with an 'S' on each side and on the top of the Egg. Selena never knew that her employees at both boutiques had collected the money to pay for it because YS took their money and gave it to her as if it was a personal gift. YS paid for the ring with Selena's American Express gold card. Selena was clutching the ring in her hand when she was loaded into the ambulance. The ambulance driver not knowing the significance of the ring returned it to the Quintanilla family. He found it when hosing out the ambulance, it was covered in blood. He said that he knew it was valuable and thought that the Quintanilla's would like to have it back. In 2002 the gun that was used was cut up into pieces and dumped into the bay. It is rumored the ring was also cut up and dumped as well.
