Besides Music Selena had a dream of having her own Boutiques. This dream came true in January of 1994. She had 2 boutiques, one in Corpus Christy and another in San Antonio. Chris helped do renovations on the boutique, he said he installed the glass wall and added a picture of the building during renovations in his book. The boutiques sold Selena's original designs along with fan merchandise and jewelry from local designers and had a Salon as well. She was in the process of opening another one in Monterrey, MX. Suzette said she wanted to have the clothes made there also to bring the prices down. She was also going to have her own perfume and makeup line. Suzette joked that Selena opened a boutique so she could be papered for free.

After her death, there were several perfumes released, Amor Prohibido, Bidi Bidi Bom Bom, Como La Flor and Siempre Selena. in 2016 Mac released a limited-edition makeup collection honoring Selena. It was so popular it sold out the first day and was re-released a few months later by popular demand. Selena said in an interview during the Agree Shampoo photoshoot in 1004 that she was also in negotiations to franchise out the boutiques so there could be boutiques all over the US and Mexico and eventually the world. Unfortunately, both of her boutiques are now closed but there is now an online store selling exclusive Selena merchandise!
